I. Product introduction:
The bending strength of stone refers to the ability of a certain specification of veneer plate to resist fracture at two supporting points. The pre-treated sample is placed on two support rods and pressure is applied in the middle of the two support points until the sample is broken, and the bending strength is calculated using the formula according to the measured breaking pressure. The greater the bending strength, the plate is not easy to break, which helps to reduce losses during transportation, increase the firmness of the building and resist the impact of the outside world. However, for stone mining and plate processing, such as the bending strength is very difficult.

Three, natural stone bending fixture test operation:
3.1 Sample thickness (H) can be determined according to the actual situation. When the specimen thickness (H) ≤68mm, the width is 100mm; When the specimen thickness is > 68mm, the width is 1.5H. Sample length 10×H+50mm. The length dimension deviation is ±1mm, the width and thickness dimension deviation is ±0.3mm.
3.2 Example: When the sample thickness is 30mm, the sample length is 10×30mm+50mm=350mm; The width is 100mm.
3.3 The sample shall be marked with bedding direction.
3.4 The two stress surfaces of the sample should be flat and parallel. The Angle between the bottom and the side should be 90°±0.5°.
3.5 There shall be no cracks, missing edges or missing corners on the sample.
3.6 Mark the position of the fulcrum on both sides of the sample respectively.
Samples under each test condition are taken in groups of five. For example, 20 test methods should be prepared for the bending strength test of vertical and parallel bedding under dry and water saturation conditions.
